Coach Bob Black
has been coaching football at Fulton High School for 43 years.
He started coaching while finishing his education at Carson
Newman College where he was a Small College All-American. Coach
Black played for Fulton High when he was in high school under
Coach Beam whom he would later coach with. The field at Fulton
High School is named "Bob Black Field" in honor of Coach Black.
Coach Black coaches the offensive and defensive lines for Fulton
and has coach with Buck Coatney to produce State Champions at
Fulton in 2003, 2004, and 2006. Bob Black is a symbol of Fulton
High School's winning tradition and has inspire players for over
four decades.
